Feeding Advice
As a general rule, prey should be approximately 1–1.5 times the widest part of your animal’s body. Feeding correctly sized frozen prey reduces injury risk, improves digestion, and supports healthy growth.
Always thaw frozen prey slowly in a refrigerator or sealed bag placed in warm water. Never microwave prey items, and discard uneaten food after feeding attempts.
