Feeding & Storage

• Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C.
• Thawing: Due to their size, these rats require a longer thawing period. Thaw in the refrigerator for 24 hours or in a sealed bag in lukewarm water for several hours. Warm the prey to roughly 35°C–38°C before offering to your animal.
• Safety: Always use heavy-duty feeding tongs. Sanitize hands, equipment, and any surfaces that come into contact with raw frozen prey.
