Choosing the Right Prey Size

A good rule is to feed prey roughly the same width as the widest part of your snake's body.

Typical prey size progression:

Pinkie mice → Hatchlings
Fuzzy mice → Juvenile snakes
Hopper mice → Growing snakes
Adult mice → Adult smaller species
Rats → Larger snakes
